Tri-Campbell Farms seed begins from the ground up with the best
of the best, rich black soil in the Red River Valley. North Dakota
winters are long & cold, with deep frosts to naturally cleanse
the soil of disease carrying organisms & insects. Northern grown
means more vigorous & hardier seed, which has been proven will
out yield southern state seed potatoes. We believe in micro-nutrient
fed & properly fertilized fields throughout the crop year, which
leads to healthy, more vigorous productive seed.
Tri-Campbell Farms seed is grown under one of the toughest state certified programs in the country. All seed stock planted must have been winter tested & approved for recertification. These field inspections, along with a final inspection are done at the shipping point by the North Dakota State Seed Dept.

Revision Date: January 2002
1) The purpose of this table is to express
equivalency of terms used by various certification agencies for seed potatoes
harvested from a series of successive field plantings. For specific criteria
relating to disease tolerances and other requirements, the reader is referred
to the certification regulations of the agency in question.
2) The first field planting utilizes laboratory-tested stocks which
may be tissue-cultured plantlets, greenhouse-produced minitubers, stem
cuttings, or line selections. Contact agencies for details as to types
of stocks planted in their programs.
3) Term used by agency for seed potatoes for a particular year
in the field: C=certified, E=elite, F=foundation, G=generation, N=nuclear,
PE=pre-elite.
